Trail Skills Institute

This collaboration between the Arizona Trail Association (ATA) and American Conservation Experience (ACE) will teach valuable skills to volunteers, including those who have been involved in trail projects for many years. Drawing upon thousands of hours on the trail and in the classroom, including some of the most daunting trail projects you can imagine, ACE staff will inspire, educate, and give you the skills you need to be an effective steward and trail volunteer. Buffelgrass Removal

The Coronado Foothills Weedwackers work on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. We generally work Skyline Rd., north of Skyline Rd between Campbell and Swan, and the Finger Rock wash. In the summer we start at 6:30 a.m. working for 1 1/2 hours, and in the winter at 7:00 a.m. for 2 hours. Please contact Marge at mhumph67@aol.com for exact time and location. Join Willow Bend Staff on a walk through of Flagstaff's Materials Recovery Facility (Recycling Center) to learn more about the “behind the scenes” of recycling. The tour lasts from 3:00–4:00pm. Meet us at the Recycling Center at the corner of Butler and Babbit. Thanks to support from the City of Flagstaff, we offer these public MRF tours free of charge.
